Civil Ceremony License
The property has recently been taken over and is currently renewing the civil wedding licence. Couples can currently have a celebrant led ceremony or humanist blessing on-site or an off-site church ceremony close by, followed by a celebration at the house. We offer a number of flexible options for wedding guests of up to 125
Practicalities
There is ample parking fro up to 50 cars along the quite road outside the house and 5 spaces on the drive. The patio can be dressed with a sail cloth and the garden can host a marquee. Marquee hire, portable toilet hire, overnight stays, styling and catering are in addition to the hire price
Good Eats & Drinks
We have a fully stocked and licensed onsite Bar which has to be used for your event however we do not charge any corkage if you would like to provide your own Welcome Drinks (Post Ceremony only)
We recommend our onsite, award winning catering team, however we welcome professional suppliers (who have the necessary paperwork and upon our approval). A fee of £500 will be payable to Bowlish House if using a 3rd party caterer
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
For guests staying in the house the majority of rooms are located on the first floor, there are three double bedrooms, two with king size beds and one with a double four-poster bed. There is also a single room and a family room consisting of one double room with a king size bed and a separate room with a double and single bed. All bedrooms have their own en-suite except for the single. In the eaves of the attic are two further double bedrooms, both with en-suites. There are also two ground floor WC’s
Features
Beautiful light filled spaces, a stunning Georgian ballroom leading out to The Orangery with garden views, two cosy lounges, an art library and bar. Use of The Orangery for a group brunch the next morning and access to the garden for alfresco dining

Arrival and departure times can be arranged to fit in with your wedding and guest plans (subject to availability)
