For the majority of the year Bowlish House operates as an award winning Boutique B&B and wedding/events venue but for a few weeks of the year, we make the whole house available as a luxury self catering holiday homestay. The house has 7 guest bedrooms, sleeping 16 guests plus space for children’s Z beds and cots. With 6 en-suites, two lounges, a ballroom and an orangery that looks out over the beautiful garden. Pantry Kitchen
Our brand new Pantry Kitchen will be stocked with all the essentials including, ‘Grind’ coffee pods, luxury teas, hot chocolate, oil, herbs, porridge, cookies and popcorn. The Pantry includes an electric hob, oven, a microwave, blender, fridge freezer, drinks fridge Smeg kettle, toaster and coffee machine. We have plenty of stylish vintage and Scandi crockery and platters at your disposal
Doggies
We are very dog friendly and welcome 2 small well behaved dogs. We ask that you please keep our furry friends off the furniture and beds and that they are not left alone in the house. We offer cosy blankets, bowls and treats upon arrival. Dogs are charged at £35 per dog, per stay
Things to do
We are in close proximity to the cities of Bath (16 miles) and Bristol (18 miles), while the vibrant city of Wells only a short drive away (5 miles). Bohemian Frome is close by (12 miles) as is bijou Bruton (8 miles). We are also just 7 minutes away from the Glastonbury gates in Pilton. Nestled at the gateway of the Mendip Hills, we have no shortage of beautiful walks/hikes and pubs on our doorstep

Utilities
There are Smart enabled TV’s in most of the bedrooms and Hotel Chocolat coffee machines, luxury tea’s and complimentary petit fours in all the rooms. We provide Egyptian 500 count cotton linens and towels as well as organic, cruelty free Bramble toiletries
We have fibre optic broadband with Access Points around the house for optimum connection
We don’t currently offer laundry equipment but if required, we can recommend several laundry services locally
Our eco pledge
We are primarily a vegan friendly house that offers plant based options both via our complimentary hampers, pantry and catering offerings. We use vegan verified toiletries, cleaning products and home wares. Anything non vegan (bone china as an example), is antique/vintage
